List Plot Pricing InfoThe Nassau Cemetery Association, a not-for-profit cemetery, was founded by the Lewis family in April of 1900. This founding date makes the cemetery well over 100 years old. The Memorial Park area was established in the late Thirties, replicating California cemeteries that eliminated upright headstones, thus making the cemeteries look more like a park. This feature accomplished its goal; it has an open and airy feeling with winding roads and limited trees or shrubbery. Many of the old Port Washington "clam digger" families buried here.
