Mount Carmel Cemetery has provided a century of service to the Jewish community. Its first interment took place on December 28, 1906, dating the cemetery at well over 100 years of age. Covering more than 100 acres, to date, Mount Carmel Cemetery has more than 114,000 interments in Sections 1 through 5 of the cemetery. Mount Carmel Cemetery is governed by and acts per the Not-For-Profit Corporation Laws of the State of New York.
